I recently started using Claude by Anthropic again. I had tried it a while back, but it had some issues that made it impractical. Whatever they've done in the past six months is nothing short of extraordinary!
By using plugins readily available in PyCharm and PhpStorm, Claude Code's CLI is available directly in the IDE.
ChatGPT is impressive, make no mistake. For a serious software engineer, nothing beats Claude.
The bottom line: Claude makes ChatGPT look like a child's toy when it comes to software development.
