One of the two holy Nerd days of the year.
Second only to Star Wars Day on May 4th to Gen Z folks like myself, March 10 has become a day of gaming and retro reflection.
I plan on playing some Super Mario Bros today to celebrate.
Here are some ideas for how you can celebrate Mar 10!
Play Mario Games
- Classic Titles: Fire up Super Mario Bros., Super Mario World, or Super Mario 64.

- The Super Mario Bros. Movie (2023) – Chris Pratt, Anya Taylor-Joy, Jack Black, and much more! It received an IMDB score of 7.0!
- Super Mario Bros. Super Show (1989) – This was a crazy show with Captain Lou Albano as Mario!
Do a Mario Challenge
- Try a speedrun of a classic Mario game.
- Complete a level without touching any coins.
- Race friends in Mario Kart—rage quit and throw your controller through your flat screen!
Become a Plumber!
- Change career paths from software development to a plumber like Mario & Luigi!
- Become an expert on pipe systems and fittings, safety procedures, blueprint reading, and local plumbing codes.
